Splitter Farms: Family owned and operated farm and seed conditioning business. Since its Colorado establishment over 60 years ago, wheat has been its staple crop. In the late 70’s, Splitter Farms became a Colorado certified wheat dealer, spawning the need for its first wheat seed cleaner. Demand from other farms in the area for a seed cleaning service quickly turned the “old machine” into an item in high demand. Shortly thereafter, Splitter Farms, in partnership with family members, began adding seed conditioning machines with updated seed grading technology. Having long since retired as certified seed dealer, it now concentrates on farming, several mobile seed conditioners, and a grain/seed processing business with family affiliates.
